Bergen

Bergen is a city that represents Norway very well.  From the 7 mountains surrounding the city, to the ole so famous fish market, this city has endless activities, especially for tourists!

- As of 20 June 2013, the municipality had a population of 269,400 and Greater Bergen had a population of 396,100, making Bergen the second largest city in Norway.

Notice how the buildings are touching
each other.  These buildings symbolize
Bergen.  They're very very old.

Random picture near the fish market.

A fish market stand.  I'll be honest...I won't
eat a lot of the sea food there.  Some of
the sea food looked very good though like
fresh shrimp, cod, and salmon.  For many
years, the fish market was Bergens main
source of income.

Old alley ways

Yes, that's a Mcdonald's.  I think they
should all like that.

View point over-looking a large part
of Bergen.

Me posing at the view point.

Another pose just for giggles.

We tried to get less head, and more city
but messed up a little bit.  Oops!

For those of you who do not know, trolls
play a large roll in Norwegian culture. Not
to say Norwegians believe in Trolls, but
Trolls play a large roll in Norwegian tradition,
children stories, and legends.  You'll find Troll
statues randomly spread throughout the country.

Buds :)

Behind the view point of Bergen, there
are Troll statues placed all over the place.

This is the track that took us up a
mountain to the view point.

This is the trolley we took.  I'm not sure
of the "official" name.

In front of the historical buildings.  They're
leaning...
